After going through the trauma of being lied to about Tomb Raider: Anniversary's release date (September anyone?) Eidos has again taken the podium and announced official release date details. Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be available on retail shelves in the US this October 23rd and in the UK a few days later on October 26th. Then, later in November, the Anniversary episodes will be released to the XBLM as two separate purchasable downloads for those who would rather buy the content in digital form. Pricing for the DLC version has yet to be announced.There you have it Lara Croft lovers ... your Anniversary dates are now confirmed, official and your content will be available in two distinct flavors. Go ahead and crack a smile already.

The thing is, this great and all but the pricing for all this stuff is what matters most. If this stuff hits over the 40 buck limit then I am a no go, otherwise it sounds good.

Im getting this oct 23rd. I dont know why anyone would wait for the DLC. I would rather have a disc i can resell if i wanted. You cant sell DLC, and it takes up more of your hard drive. Save 10 bucks with DLC maybe? Not good enough.

Since the available gamerscore normally varies according to the delivery mechanism, will the retail disc only have 200 or 400 points available to match the DLC? Or will there be 1000 points on the disc but 200/400 on the download?

I'm upset that I'm the only one upset. They originally said that Legend owners would get Anniversary FIRST, which makes more sense seeing as how it's easier to digitally distribute and it's rewarding your customers.
I had beaten Legend for the PSP, but I figured I'd go buy Legend and replay it on 360 for achievements and to be able to play Anniversary earlier than everyone else since I really wanted Anniversary.
Now that they've completely screwed and punished the Legend customers that they said would be rewarded, I don't think I want to buy Anniversary anymore, or any other Tomb Raider game for that matter. They're doing this backwards and lying to their customers.
