Eidos UK announced that
Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be 4 pieces of episodic content, playable through
Tomb Raider: Legend, with the first two episodes releasing in September. The complete set, (including a the Croft Manor as a free download), will come to 2400 MS points, or 600 Microsoft points per episode. Since playing requires having
Legend handy, those strictly wanting the content alone can wait until later in the year for the retail release. So, in short we were
right, but it still leaves a question lingering. Since the episodes will be tied to
Legend, is there going to be a maximum of 250 Gamerscore to be given out, if it
even has additional Achievements? If that's the case, then what about the retail release, will that have 1000 Gamerscore? Either way, this could be breaking new ground on Xbox Live.

@1. It's quite simple.
Under MS's new rules for achievements, a game can't have more than 1250 after updates. If anniversary is considered an update to Legend, we're only getting 250 points, if any at all. If it's considered its own game, despite the fact it's piggybacking off Legend, we'll get another 100 points, and possibly another 250 if more updates come afterwords

umm.. wouldn't it end up being 250 achievement points per episode?
would make sense would it not since then all 4 would add up to 1000 still. I'm sure microsoft will be ok with that since the full box version would have the same.
What I am more worried about is the end price for the box copy.. will it be more of the same as we spend on MS points? I don't know about you but if I buy the 4 episodes and the final box version is the same price I'd be pissed. I'd demand they send me a box copy for buying their stuff and not even getting something I can trade into ebgames later.

One thing I can tell you is that Tomb Raider: Legends on the Xbox 360 is the BEST Tomb Raider game EVER made!
I bought Tomb Raider: Legend for only $29.99 on my Xbox 360, and a couple friends have bout it for only $24.99, since then. It is a LOT of fun! We really enjoyed going through every second of Tomb Raider: Legends. The Achievements are handled in a great way, too that are pretty easy to obtain, as long as you are willing to play the game.
My friends and I are looking forward to these Episode Content parts of the game a LOT!
