After playing gears to death on and offline. I have now shunned it like a freakish new born. I have grown to hate it's lack of online options, it's total buggy gameplay and ridiculous laggy connection. The only reason people still find this game interesting is because it looks pretty and has buckets of blood gushing gore. People should wake up and push it aside for other games that have rock solid gameplay and half decent online connection speeds.

You want to improve your Gears of War online experience? Call your cable company and have your connection boosted to the next level. It should just cost you around $10 extra month. It has improved my gameplay substantially. The lagging has improved and the my kills have improved by 60%. I just think in order for Gears to be run decently you need an 8 MPS connection at the least.

Kudos to you, Joe. I, too, have shunned GOW forever, effective today. It wasn't that fun to me, just addictive. Plus I turned into a real angry person when playing.

this is a sweet contest if youre into some corporation stealing your design after you put hours of work into conceptualizing something for a $60 book you can just go and buy...
did you guys read the rules? by entering you basically waive your rights to the character you design and sign off on the understanding that some company may re-produce another character that is derivative of your work - and you own nothing out of that little endeavor

Chris:
NO one cares. IN fact, if I were any bit artistic, I would create a copy of my original artwork, send it in, and if I won, I would have the ability to gloat: "I made the best one there, and then they made it into a character. Suck on that."
