Epitaph and Last Resort video goodness
(Ahem ahem) Come one come all and see the amazing Halo 3 video we have on showcase for you today. To be honest, it's down right crazy excitingly awesome! And that's no lie.
The video above is from Dutch gaming show Gamekings who not only got to chat with Bungie about Halo 3, but also received exclusive multiplayer footage from both Epitaph and Last Resort. The never before seen multiplayer footage is sprinkled throughout the Gamekings interview and shows minutes of yummy Epitaph and Last Resort gameplay. Our quick take on the new maps is that Epitaph is very jumpy and Last Resort is Zanzibar, but with more wide open carnage. And we love wide open carnage. So guys, what are your thoughts on Epitaph and Last Resort?

I kid, though subtitles wouldn't hurt...
Epitaph is gorgeous, definitely my pick of the two, though mostly because I'm Zanzibarred out still. I'm sure I'll let Last Resort into my heart eventually.

9. Those maps looked epic. Can't wait to get my Legendary on the 26th.
I was surprised by the number of English words they used, they say Map instead of whatever the Dutch word is (it can't be map) the same with Sandbox. They aren't names they are just the english word for things.

11. Dutchspeaking guy reporting in. The interview isn't that important, nothing we haven't heard yet. He talks a while about the fact that you can record your own games now. About the co-op: he asked a question if the game had 2 player co-op, and someone from Bungie replied: 2 player co-op isn't real co-op, possibly implying the coop will be at least 4 people (not confirmed tho, also no mentioning of split screen).
There weren't any details about singleplayer, bungie mentioned something like a sandbox concept, but according to the dutch guy it shouldn't be compared to GTA/Saints Row freeroam. The sandbox concept is a bit explained by the guy explaining the hijack of that flying thingie and crashing it into someone else... So by sandbox they mean that a lot of things are possible, things that weren't really foreseen...
That's just what I remembered as I'm typing now, any more specific questions, feel free to ask, although there isn't any really new information told.

15. hehe I'm probably going to get yelled at for this but here goes...
I'm a HUGE Unreal Tournament player. Ever since Unreal hit the PC years ago.
Is it just me... or does the HALO 3 multiplayer BETA feel like Unreal Tournament?
It's definately fun however, there is a lot of parallels with Unreal Tournament.
UT3 is coming out soon... either way... more multiplayer fraggin :)
