1. Well on the bright side, isn't the dash update going to fix some firmware issues with the HD-DVD player?

2. Bleh!

What is this?! HD DvD should ahev taken this week and CRUSHED the BluRay camp. Look at what they are releasing for gods sake! None of the BD movies this week were rated very high, and none achieved national prominence. So how does the HD DvD handle this golden egg of a delivery? Nothing. They release absolutely nothing. Way to drop the ball.

I love HD DvD, and seriously think with the right amount of PR, advertising, and pricing they could steamroll Blu Ray but for some reason or another they keep shooting themselves in the foot. I mean come on, they already haev brand name realization with the name HD DvD (everybody knows what HD is and everybody knows what a DvD is), how hard can it be to put out some advertising and release with a steady schedule?

Apparently its very hard.
