That doesn't look very enhanced to me... the animation looks choppy, and they didn't even add the showering particle effects that every 'evolved' game seems to think is necessary.
I would much rather a retro/evolved or classic/refueled way of doing things, but lets be realistic, thats not an upgrade, thats a whole new game based on a classic. Pack in the classic with that is wonderful, but we would likely be paying 800 points for them.
I would LOVE to see a Galaga that doesn't suck; with cool new partical and lighting effects, some more control over where your ship is, and a super weapon or two... but I'm just one person.
I want them to release Tron Deadly Discs for the 360!!! That game was awesome on the Intellivision and the controls would transfer pretty well to the 360 I think.
I've been waiting for a developer to make a 3d transition for pitfall. And I don't mean those craptastic versions that came out a while ago. I mean almost regular old pitfall, but made with a fancy 3d engine, and still be a side scroller, like they did with Ghost and Goblins. Even if somebody did a "Out of this world" treatment to it, it'd be better than half of the retro titles lately.
majormauser,
Discs of Tron and Tron Deadly Discs (Intellivision) are two different games. Tron Deadly Discs put you in more of an arena setting as guys came at you from different sides, where Discs of Tron is the circular-platform one.
thats exactly what I thought when I heard this game was coming out. Armagetron was a great game, albeit with buggy netcode. 3D Lightcycle games are the way of the future, so says TRON circa 1984. Armagetron on the 360 would be rad.

They should have just ported Armagetron to the 360. I'd pay for that just to get the network functionality of Armagetron for Xbox Live.
