As part of Xbox Australia's Konsoles for Kids charity auctions that benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, they've put up a spiffy new Halo 3 Xbox 360 on eBay. The console, as seen to the right, features official Halo 3 artwork and is autographed by the Bungie team. The auction also comes with a copy of Crackdown, so the auction winner can be a part of the Halo 3 beta. Right now everything is sitting at a rather steep $2,120 AU ($1,756 US), but remember, all proceeds go to charity. The auction ends on May 10th, so it's time to get your bid on fellow fanboys.[Via Stynk Monkey]

You know I felt a little sick and pissed when I read the title for this entry from my RSS feed, but knowing that all of the proceedings are going towards a kids charity makes up for it.
I think that it's really cool that bungie is doing this, that and the artwork doesn't look to shabby either.

This would be cooler without the signatures. Really, who wants the name of some faceless developer at Bungie written on the side of their 360? The artwork looks pretty good, but the signatures kill it, for me atleast.

@ Anonymous (He who does not forgive?)
You really don't pay much attention to Bungie, do you? These guys love showing their faces around in web videos and such.
Two examples being Frankie and Marty. I wouldn't really call either of them faceless. Hairless, maybe. Not faceless.
