So, if I'm reading the rules correctly, if I do not have the game, I can send in 72 postcards and still have a chance to win? Or will 1 postcard be sufficient to enter each hourly period?

Seems like they're afraid that this title won't sell. It's a warranted fear just because it's just GRAW with a few tweaks, nothing revolutionary.
Ubi, stop trying to turn into EA!

I highly doubt that Ubisoft is concerned that the title won't sell. When I arrived at my local Gamestop @ 4p (the time I was told it would be available), there were 4 others picking up the game as well. Not selling well (what you're suggesting), and making sure that sales go through the roof (what I think is happening) are 2 very different things.
And although GRAW2 is certainly like GRAW in many ways, many GRAW players see this as a good thing. And to suggest that Ubisoft is turning into EA is absolutely ridiculous. The Ghost Recon series HAS ALWAYS GONE IN 2 GAME SUCCESSIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
Ghost Recon/Ghost Recon: Island Thunder
Ghost Recon 2/Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike (so close that one needed the GR2 just t play it)
GRAW/GRAW 2
After every second game, bug changes were made.
People: please stop wanting difference, just so that it will be different. If GRAW sucked, or this was the 3rd+ iteration of the game, we would all have room to accuse Ubisoft of becoming EA, but this pattern falls into a well documented and very plain pattern of the game's development.
So to the complainers: STFU!!!!!!!

Only the Die Hard GRAW fans are buying this game, everyone else is passing on Graw 1.5 until it drops to about 30 or 40 dollars. It won't take long. My local game store sold one copy. Ouch : )
