C&C3's new faction revealed, first video

EA released a new video of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium wars today. This video reveals an all new faction, the Scrin. The Scrin is an alien race with lots of lasery goodness and units that look like they were pulled directly out of War of the Worlds. Judging from the new trailer, they're not friendly aliens either. A handful of new screen shots were released as well. Check them out after the break.

Three lasers at once? Why, that's just crazy!

Those NOD boys are quaking in their boots.

In the end, it's germs that kill the Scrin. Who knew?

Could the Scrin be C&C3's answer to the Zerg? Alright, let's have a show of hands. Who wants this game?

6. Well I know this sounds like it's a little stay in the past thinking, but I'm less interested now because of this new addition. The game looks great, but I think they just destoried what C&C's Tiberium series was about. I mean seriously, aliens?? Couldn't they come up with something else? I mean they look like they have kickass weapons, but why aliens. I don't know I was really looking forward to this game becuase I thought "sweet they're bringing back the great francise", then they do this. Call me what you want or whatever, I just think it destoried what the Tiberium series was. Seriously anyone remember the old series, the one that made C&C what is now?

8. Tell me I'm not the only one who remembers the Scrin from Tiberian Sun, right? The crashed alien spaceship that you had to secure before NOD got there?

Wow was that seriously eight years ago?
