NCSXshop.com has a really cool Xbox 360 replacement shell available for $49. It's called the XCM Diamond case, and is an obvious homage to the "Crystal" Xbox from the previous generation. The clear case also comes with a replacement shell for your controller as well, giving you a clear view into the inner workings of both your console and gamepad. Also available at the site is the step by step case removal instructions, which voids warranty. Unfortuantely, the link for how to install the DCM Diamond case takes you to the same page, so you'll just have to retrace the steps back to the beginning. Ive been considering a case mod. We recently ordered two of the clear green and a clear blue case for mock-ups we are doing at work and they looked cool but I would prefer it if they had a matte finish. The shiny plastic just looks cheap.
For now I have ordered a black contoller mod from extreme-mods.com.

I wouldnt get this one, it does look cheap like #2 said, that probably goes with the low price tag, 50 dollars is fairly cheap for a custom full case with controller case

I have the clear case mod where you can see the CD spinning and it's very cool. I have the light kit mod inside and it looks sweet. It's also nice to see the red laser reading the cd while you are playing

I'm to worried about voiding the warranty to do a case mod. I've had a couple break down on me, so I'll wait until my xbox is out of warranty to do somehting like this.
