1. "Halo 3 in March would be a kickass way to spend Spring Break"

lol, are you serious? try getting out of the house. i'll be spending my spring break at lake havasu, on a house boat, surrounded by half naked, drunk, hot women. some will actually be so drunk, they'll just take off their clothes for no reason! i'll fuck one for you, don't worry.

2. One thing on this list, for me, stands out above all others: free online play for Phantasy Star Universe.

Give me some of that!

3. Wow...a sucky Full Auto game didn't sell well on the 360. Surprise surprise.

Wanna bet that it doesn't sell well on the PS3 too?

I swear I've never seen devs take a simple concept like guns and cars and make it not fun like Sega did with Full Auto.

4. All may be ok... except the full auto 2 lol

The problem is Full Auto 2 for the 360 was already announced and screenshots were sent out... what... 2-3 weeks ago shesh.

5. Im with you, Mr. Mitchell. I so want to get into an MMORPG, but am not about to pay $15/month to play a single game.

6. Am I the only one who enjoyed the first Full Auto?

7. They need to come out with details about Guitar Hero for the 360 because I am this close to buying a PS2 just for that game...I was hooked by my nephew and now that's all I can think about!

Here's hoping that they release Guitar Hero 360 (or whatever) soon...and then offer the tracks from GH and GH2 as two downloadable packages for $15-30. That would be perfect for me...

And if that camera bundle really does replace the 12 month Live bundle...talk about market penetration! Those without the camera will be a rare breed indeed.

10. Guitar Hero on any next gen would rock.. Could be pretty interesting if it were on the Wii..

Posted at 2:42PM on Sep 7th 2006 by DeadPlasmaCell

11. Todd, Gears of War's "actual" release date is Nov. 12th, though Cliffy B admit that it will ship on the 7th and they will allow stores to sell as soon as they get it. And of course they will sell ASAP.

13. Well, seeing as Phantasy Star isn't an MMORPG and has far lower backend costs, it makes sense that it shouldn't require a fee over and above Xbox Live Gold to play online.

If Sega had figured this out a few years ago they could have done a lot more business on the Xbox version.

14. all u would need is xbox live silver to play the game

cause microsoft doesn't make you have gold to play mmorpgs

finally a free online game

15. Played Full Auto 2 as E3 and it was actually pretty fun. Not sure about the racing, but the Arena style was entertaining and I ended up winning a hat because of it.

Found out from one of the developers there that Full Auto 2 is actually Full Auto 1. They were planning the game for the PS3 from the get go and were asked to "put something together" for the 360. So you aren't seeing a sequel, but a completed game.

16. Put something together for the 360? I remember Adam Sessler being all excited for it as a 360 launch game at E3 2005. Sounds like a developer gave you a lame excuse for his first half-assed attempt instead of fessing up for sucking.

How does PSU work? Is it instance based like guild wars, where everyone meets for a specific quest, or is it still free roaming like WOW? Forgive me if I sound stupid, I know nothing of MMORPGs.

Posted at 9:33AM on Sep 8th 2006 by puh_fifer

17. puh_fifer,

PSU most closely resembles Diablo. There is a hub/town where players meet up, buy goods, etc. When they are ready they party up and warp down to the dungeon (or planet in PSU's case). There are quests that a party can take from the guild office or they can just clear out each dungeon and progress towards the final dungeon.

It was essentially a hack n' slash dungeon crawler but it was a good one. The reason I liked it so much is that it doesn't have the *huge* time requirement that many MMO games have. You could conceivably play for an hour and feel like you did something.

Hope that helps. I'll probably be picking it up, free or not.

18. so drunk that they'd sleep with someone like you...? that *is* pretty cool, actually

Nope Shadowman, I liked it too. Matter of fact it was the most-played game in my household for a few weeks running.(Not that there was much else to play)
