1. I'm actually...impressed. This is Tomb Raider...right? I can't believe it.

Demo was a bit lengthy to download, but it was worth the time spent. My girlfriend will be buying it so maybe I'll mooch off her once she gets it. =)

2. I thought it was pretty good. It certainly fixes a lot of the issues that have been plaguing the series for a while -- control and level design spring to mind immediately. I don't think they'll ever top the sense of awe that came with the first one, but Tomb Raider was also one of the first games to offer a truly explorable 3D environment. It was a joy to explore, too.

I think that, after Angel of Darkness, this will be a successful return for Lara. It's not going to be rated as a AAA game anywhere outside of England (and maybe not even there), but I can imagine it being a solid, fun game that delivers a lot of what people want from it. I'm predicting score ranges from 75% - 85%.

5. Everytime I try to download this, it gets to 62% and then says it has an error and to try to download it later. Luckily though, it only takes like 10 minutes to get that far each time, as i'm not one of the people who downloads slowly off of live. (Thank god!)

6. the controls are fix, the learning curve is almost non existant, the download was long but the game is a great improvement, she looks good on HD even tho the game still looks like a very close relative from current gen. i was expecting a little more. but heck i guess at this point in time that's good enough... for now.

7. I haven't beaten it yet but from what I've played I'm REALLY impressed with the graphics. I love the waterfall and the light from her flashlight. I dunno what it is... I wasn't impressed by the screenshots...but this, wow.

8. I tried it. I wasn't that impressed. It's better than past Tomb Raiders, but it seemed kind of ugly (compared to other 360 titles). The texturing on the rocks seemed low res, even when they were right in front of you. And being that rock walls are pretty much all over the place, it made for a disappointing experience. Field of view effects are good though, especially with the binoculars.

9. Well, yeah... Really nice developers.

When you use a VGA-cable and a 4:3 TFT, you'll end up with "4:3 stretched to widescreen(with black borders)" on the demo.

How come it needs to be stretched to widescreen? I have on my settings that i do have a 4:3 display.

10. I just finished the demo and I am really impressed! It left me wanting more of L-l-l-lara....*drool* A friend gave me a tip on how to dl a little faster. Just start a demo dl till about 5-10% completed, then cancel the dl, back out of confirm dl screen, select demo again and restart the dl. The % will immediately jump to well over 50% in 3 seconds!...hope this helps. has anyone else heard of this "workaround"? works everytime for me

Yeah I dont think that works. I dont think the status works properly becuase often Ill start a download and it will jump up to like 5% and then like %20 but then the dl doesnt complete until about 8 hours later. If I tried to dl this demo it would prolly take close to 24 hours.

15. Tried the demo today, and it seems fun. Found an interesting glitch where they tried to use a knee high invisible wall to keep the player from walking off an edge though.
