Available for preorder for about $135, the device doesn't replace your 360 HDD or Memory Unit, since you aren't allowed to save games or Live downloads on any other devices -- it only supplements them as storage for pictures and music. As a result, it's hard to recommend when you could, for a small amount more, get a full-blown MP3 player, like the iPod nano, and have it available for your 360 and as a standalone player.

They are out of their minds... I mean seriously. First it costs 135$, which more than the 360's 20GB hardrive. Second, if it's only for pictures and music you could buy an mp3 player like stated in the article (if it's not an ipod, you could even get it for less than 135$). Lastly, if you have a phobia of mp3 players or something why not just get a thumb drive, smaller, cheaper.

OMG I WANT THIS THIS IS SOOOO SWEET JUST BECAUSE IT HAS THE 360 LOGO!
The worst part about this, people will buy this and companies will laugh and continue to put $135 on a 4 gb hard drive. You are paying just for the license

I wouldn't waste your time on something like this. Not is it very expensive, its not very practical. It made sense on PSP since there isn't many options for a big amount of storage but on Xbox 360, there's plenty, and far better options. Like using a removable hard drive or hard drive MP3 player (such as an iPod), using a USB Flash Drive, using a card reader, or just ANY removable storage medium that uses USB.
At the price of that thing, it would be allot better to get a USB hard drive or a hard drive MP3 player. Not only do they store much more, you get allot more functionally out of them.
But the price point of this isnt exactly mis-placed. I see 4GB Flash Hard Drives for PC going for about the same price, though I never really saw the point of them, since like here, theres better alteratives.

Wow how utterly and totally pointless, you'd be better pending that $135 on an ipod mini at least you ocould use that as an mp3 player as well.
It's not like it actually really looks that great either, there's way too much gree. It looks more like a classic Xbox accessory.

Too bad you can buy a usb adapter kit for a standard pc hard drive and use your own drives, or buy a much larger gig drive for about the same price.
