According to the peeps over at IGN (whom Harmonix granted early DLC access) next week's Rock Band downloadable content will be a mixed bag of musical fun. Next Tuesday, October 28th will bring seven new DLC tracks from bands including Siouxsie & The Banshees, Blink-182, Silversun Pickups, and Psychedelic Furs with all tracks being made available for 160 Microsoft points each. Look below for a bulleted listing of next week's musical DLC goodness and (as always) complain or express your excitement in the comments section.
- "Hong Kong Gardens" by Siouxsie & The Banshees
- "Kiss Them For Me" by Siouxsie & The Banshees
- "Killing Jar" by Siouxsie & The Banshees
- "Dammit" by Blink-182
- "Melatonin" by Silversun Pickups
- "Well Thought Out Twinkles" by Silversun Pickups
- "Pretty in Pink" by Psychedelic Furs

I truly cannot believe that Siouxsie is coming to Rock Band! This is great, great news! Now I can go back to hoping that we can see The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, and other similar stuff appearing in the game some day!
I'm also glad to see more Silversun Pickups coming. After being introduced to them from Lazy Eye on RB2, I find I like them a lot, and having some more from them will be a good thing.
I may buy the other two tracks also, just from excitement at how good next week's tracks are.

Btw, that makes 2 songs that appeared on that rumor for the free 20 songs that turned out to be false. ( http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74768 ) You think they'll release all of those songs later on?

hmmm actually it looks like more like 5 songs from that list have come out in the past few dlc tuesdays. i hope the songs left on that list will come out eventually as i am looking forward to these songs most:

also there are still some songs on the rock band dlc wikipedia page in the unconfirmed songs section for rock band songs that are "rumored" to release sometime. they have been on there for a while and harmonix has slowly been releasing a song or two from this rumored list every so often. i am excited about some of those too if harmonix will ever release them.

So I got all my homework done but I really didn't feel up for school today (I go to the best high school in my state gimme a break ;-( ) But it's the last day of the quarter so I needed to turn in some of my stuff. I decided to get a note saying I was sick for the first half of school then I went back to be for like an hour. It wasn't an hour and I woke up right now... Shit.
