Depends on your area, I believe. Officially, it's available today, though some stores may not have it until tomorrow.

Nice retrospective. I really loved the arcade version when I was a kid and was disappointed none of the NES NGs followed the beat'em up design. In a way ,the modern games are a return to the style of the 1988 classic.
Finishing Ninja Gaiden 2 on the NES is one of my proudest gaming achievements. That game gave me fits...
