Yesterday Xbox Live was scheduled to go online at 1:00PM EST after an 8-hour hiatus for maintenance. However, like any guarantee, Xbox Live suffered from staggered connection issues well into the evening. According to the Xbox.com support page and Major Nelson, Xbox Live was back to business early this morning. Today, in a rare poll, we wonder what your experience is like. Fire up the Xbox 360 and connect to Live, play a game or two online and let us know what your experience is like now that the dust has settled on the connection problems.Poll: Xbox Live back in business, how is your experience?

Yea seriously, people make way too much of a big deal out of an hour or two of downtime. There are no problems, everything is and has been working perfectly since it came back up. The people submitting anything else are full of shit.

Played some COD4 MP this morning. Noticed a little lag, but only for a minute. Other than that, no problem.

I spoke to customer service this morning and they had me recover my gamertag twice even though I told them it would work on one console and not the other. After spending close to 90 minutes on the phone the Rep spoke to his supervisor who said they are experiencing known issues they are working on. If you look in the forums on Xbox.com one person spoke to Rep who said the issues are known, global and random.
We'll see if it's better when I get home from school tonight.

I happened to get ono around 1:03 PM ESt yesterday, and I recovered my friends gamertag around that time.
I expected issues to pop up but everything was fine and we played Rock Band normally.

Another poll should be: "Did anyone actually have issues BEFORE this maintenance outage?"

I haven't had a chance to see the update. After the little pre update patch on Friday my Xbox started locking up. It finally red ringed on Sunday.
My neighbor's died the same day too, but I'm not sure he is online.
It figures, I preordered GTA 4.
