The difference is that obviously no one wants to hear those ethnicities. If there were people who wanted to hear it than their opinions would be voiced but there clearly is no desire to hear the asian rockstars or play that type of music. On the other hand, there are legitimate black rockstars that a lot of people would like to see in the game. It has nothing to do with being racial but everything to do with there being a complete lack of diversity within the game we all know and love.

I wonder how many people would buy it if they got such classics as Smoke on the Water or Smells like Teen Spirit...hell even Nickelback would do!

I already got the Police song I wanted (Can't Stand Losing You). I don't think this is an issue of "running" dry as much as it's very likely they had to license these songs in packs for remotely good prices for us.
If they're going to rely on standbys so much, they really really really really need more Deep Purple. I know someone at Harmonix loves these guys, so it better happen. I want Space Truckin' dammit.

This is a matter of taste. I am waiting patiently for the Grateful Dead to showup, everyone has their favorites. Think of it this way: 3 songs per week, at least 156 songs per year (more when they release albums). Of that 156, there will some that you will buy and others you will not. The point is something for everyone. One persons crap is another's gold. If you look at the releases you will see the pattern: classic rock, punk/new wave, new/old metal, modern pop, etc. They are spreading these songs around, so grow some patience.

Egads, the Ramones are some of the worst crap ever. Every song has the same beat, same riffs, same shit. And it ALL sounds horrible.
Won't be picking up any of these.

Anybody notice the irony of this Clash song including the shouted line "YOU'RE MY GUITAR HERO!" ?

this makes three weeks in a row of subpar songs... march isn't very exciting either, save for the metal releases
oh well. as long as they stick to the weekly thing, there has to be more good stuff coming at some point

It doesn't matter if YOU (Mr. Commenter) like the choice of songs - it matters if other people like them.
I'm giving away my age here but I'm fine with Police and Ramones tracks. I grew up with them so they mean something to me - regardless if some pompous commenter feels they're inferior to another performer.
Give us Journey and VH!
