Previously hinted at by Travelers Tales, (the developers of this and all the Lego games) and then announced last July, the Lego Indiana Jones game has shown itself again. This time with some details and the game's full name: Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. Lego Indy will be similar to the Lego Star Wars games, in that the game story will end up spanning a total of three feature films, in this case the original eighties trilogy. The game will have three chapters (likely one per film), eighteen levels, and the traditional Indy equipment like the whip and gun. Oh, and that trademark Travelers Tales humor is supposed to be present in full force as well. With a target release date of June, this is great news for fans of the Lego games, though it does make one wonder about the status and release date of Lego Batman ....

I read something the other day about how they are taking the "Nazi" out of Indiana Jones for these games. They will still be there but all references to Nazi's will be removed.
Sure, its a kids game but come on.

From TFA:
Perhaps partly in keeping with this, according to Edge Traveller's Tales has chosen to remove Nazis - and any reference to them it appears, from what TT says - from the game, "Lego having already replaced them with an anonymous genocidal, occultist, trenchcoat-wearing master-race". The studio explains it has left it down to the strength of the Indy characters to show they are bad guys - but "that said, we like to reinforce the fact that these really are terrible, terrible people".

@xenocidic: Well there ya go. Guess I'm not too inclined to click the links in posts when theres always so many of them. :P Especially when its all stuff I've read some place else two or three days prior.
@franoculator: The people who make them? Well, they're aimed at kids at least.
It's probably just some stupid PC bullshit. Parents don't want their kids asking them what a Nazi is, or something. These days it wouldn't surpise me.

Never followed Star Wars so have never played a Lego game. So i am excited to hear news about Indiana Jones, one of my fav. movie characters. Hope it's a good one.
Btw, whatever happened to the 'real' Indiana Jones game? It's gone completely of the map!

The 'real' Indiana Jones game is on this list linked below of games in the latest OXM magazine. The mag states the game will be out with the movie in July.

Thats dissapointing to find out that they removed the nazis. That changes the game. I guess they will just change their patches to crosses or xs instead of swastikas.
On a side note, I will not purchase this game at launch. I purchased and played through lego star wars the complete saga and found that was a bit shor for the money I spent (59.99 cdn). I really cant imagine paying for one of those lego games individually which is basically what this indy game is since it will have half the levels as lego SW TCS. Ill wait either until this game goes bargin bin to purchase or they come out with some sort of new extended game like with SW.
Good games, just too short and simple to be charging full price for.

If it's anything like Lego Star Wars Original Trilogy then I'll be getting it. That game was a LOT of fun!
