You know, when you think about it, Turok is a manly game. In fact, it's just about the manliest game it could possibly be. Let's take a look at the facts. One, you play Joseph Turok, a burly, burly man with a jaw hewn from marble and cheekbones to die for. Two, he kills gun toting soldiers using a bow that fires exploding arrows. Three, he hunts dinosaurs with a knife. Finally, don't tell anyone, but we have it on good authority that he goes bear wrestling with Chuck Norris every other Saturday. So yeah, Turok looks to be a game you can show off to impress menfolk without fear of reprisal. Oh, and it's the only new game on 360 this week, so here's hoping it's actually good.
Update: While GameStop notes that the game launches this week, many readers have pointed out that the official Turok site still maintains the February 5 release date. In other words, it looks like gamers will be waiting another week before controlling Turok and his manly shoulders.

The demo was ok, I don't think I would shell out $60 for it.......I'll wait til it drops......too many good games I own I have yet to finish........Burnout is a must own by the way!! Best arcade racer ever??

Ahhh... I think he was just distracted by Turok's manly shoulders. He seems pretty distracted by rugged good looks. Anything you want to tell us Richard? :)
The demo was kind of fun, but I'm hearing the game isn't all that. Still one I'll probably pick up, just because I need my "new game" fix.

I thought demo was garbage, killing the dino's with knife all the time because shooting them didn't seem to work well, kinda sucked. Dino's like flares? Sure would have been nice If you could save anywhere you like. Felt like I got ripped off when I bought Blacksite, and I'm not gonna let it happen with TUROK. I'll keep my $60 or get Burnout.

I haven't seen the new Rambo, and it does sound more like it, but "Turok: First Blood" sounded better than "Turok: Rambo" lol
I want this game to be awesome....I want it to not suck. Please don't suck Turok.
I'll be getting DMC4 though....hopefully this is ok though.
