Potato pancakes and waffle fries! 3D Realms announced on their forums (which are currently down due to excessive bandwidth usage) that today, Wednesday, December 19th they'll be releasing a brand new Duke Nukem Forever teaser trailer ... you hear that? A Duke Nukem Forever teaser trailer! According to the forum post, the 3D Realms crew showed off the teaser at their annual company Christmas party and they all agreed that the masses needed to see it. The trailer should be available by 1:00PM eastern and you know that we and the world can't wait. So, for the time being, gush over the official 3D Realms released DNF screen-grab above. Vaporware, what?

i am beginning to believe that this is simply a long standing, running joke over at 3DR. everytime they do this, they return to their cubicles laughing, "hahahaha we have them for another five years!"

i believe gentlemen and ladies we have to admit that we have been had, (or at least those of us who still haven't given up on DNF at this time.)

It was close to release about a year and half ago as a game that would play in your web browser. See review below.
