This has been an interesting week for us here at X3F. The Tulsa, Oklahoma branch of Fanboy Towers (whose offices are transdimensional by the way -- the Tulsa office is on the 48th floor) was positively hammered by a vicious ice storm. Our evenings were spent listening to the sounds of hundreds of frozen tree branches as they cracked and tumbled to the ground. As you can see, the results were pretty staggering. In fact, it is only through secret rites and rituals that we have managed to recover any electricity or internet connectivity at all. Unfortunately, said rituals don't apply when we head back home for the day, so we're talking 5 days without Xbox Live. So, this week, as we ask you what you'll be playing this weekend, remember to be grateful for your fabulous Xbox 360 and the wonders of Xbox Live.
And with that: what will you be playing this weekend?

Finishing my first runthrough of Mass Effect and then doing whatever else I need to do to get over the 4000 gamerscore milestone. I'd like to get to 5k by the end of the year. I've got practically unplayed copies of COD4, Bioshock and the Darkness patiently waiting for stupid Saren to quit being such a jerky rogue Spectre.

I recently started playing Oblivion again as an archer. My cheapness has me watching for a $30 deal on Orange Box on Half, so that could take a little while.

I am looking forward to playing CoD4 and Mass Effect this weekend. I will also try to get some time in on DungeonQuest Monster-Joker on the DS and the Wii Zapper but it is so hard to pull away from the 360. :`(

Going out of town for a weekend-long party, so I'm split between trying to drag Rock Band (which would be an unholy pain in the ass, but super-awesome,) and PS2 Karaoke Revolution (not as good, but a hell of a lot more portable).

..some new maps on Halo3, Mass Effect and Mario Galaxy. Man, that game's so soothing and addictive.
I've only done a little running around at the Citadel in Mass Effect. Please tell me, without lying, that it gets much better..

I have to stop playing Mass Effect so damn much and get back on the CoD4 bandwagon. I love CoD4 so damn much but I haven't put it in my 360 in weeks

Not to just sound like a nerd or to detract from the Al Bore bash-a-thon, but to keep facts strait... most climate change models allow more severe weather occurrences, like this, which certainly don't, in any way, take away from the fact that, overall, the world is getting warmer. The main demographic of "scientists" who disagree and propel the myth that there is still a debate within the scientific community are funded directly or indirectly by Big Oil... like CEI, for instance. Now, why would they want to do that, I wonder?

If I win that map pack, Halo 3 for sure, just a maybe otherwise. Other than that, I'll definitely hit the Burnout Demo, Rock Band, and probably some HL2 Ep. 2, Carcassonne, and the Culdcept Saga Demo if my son whines enough.

Finally, my finals are over! Now I'm home, currently download the Burnout and Arkaidians demos I missed during the week. Then I'll complete my second run through of Mass Effect and continue my Mario Galaxy play through on my younger brothers Wii.
