Speaking to GameSpot UK, Xbox UK head Stephen McGill stated that Microsoft is currently "struggling" to meet demand for the Xbox 360 in the United Kingdom. He noted that Microsoft is probably managing demand a little better than other console manufacturers out there (most likely referring to Nintendo's Wii), but that the company is working every week to keep retailers supplied with the various SKUs of Xbox 360. McGill didn't actually say that the system was consistently selling out, but he did note that even finding enough vans to ship Xbox 360s is difficult.
What say you, UK fanboys? Is it hard to find 360s in your neck of the woods?

I've my 360 for a while now, but I got her one so we can play together while she's at school (1 hr away from me, only see her on weekends).
I'll probably have to carry her while playing Halo 3 and COD 4 haha

It seems the elite is selling rather well, everyone I know that wants a 360 for xmas is getting the elite, which kind of makes sense now that the video marketplace is up and going.

this seems a little odd 2 me, just went in PC world in Cribbs Causeway and they still had the Halo etd 360's in stock!!! as well as every other SKU

They seem to be selling really well, i know of 6 people at work who have bought an elite in the last month. And i often see signs saying "360 Elites in stock" and when i went into GAME today i seen 3 or 4 people in the queue with elite bundles.

It depends where you are I guess. We just got 10 Elites in the other day, are we only have one left. I work in PC World so.
Where as, we have a stack of Premium and Core models.
Plus, me always trying them to buy the 360 over the PS3 =] Haha.

While the 360 is selling well here, this is absolute rubbish. I have seen nowhere remotely out of stock of 360s, and I haven't heard any accounts of it happening either.

As a Gamestation employee, 360's are far outselling PS3's. Hell, if only coz we're recommending them instead of PS3 to unsure customers ;-). Elites and Halo 3 Ltd Ed. models dwindling in stock numbers. Looks like a damn fine year for them.
If only they'd released Rock Band...

I know my mate had to wait a few days when he ordered his 360 from HMV I think it was. They were waiting for the next shipment but it wasnt exactly a long wait he had. A week at most I think.

I upgraded my Core to an Elite the other week in Game and loads of people were buying 360's. The queue was out the door and everyone was either buying a 360 or a DS. I tried to get my Elite from Virgin (or Zavvii now), but was told they had none in stock in Scotland until after Xmas. Got him to check the computer for me and all the stores had none left.

No 360 stock trouble in Liverpool afaik. The Arcade isn't around much but I think that's down to certain stores (like the smaller Woolworths stores) just not selling it.
