The majority of them have traded in the game by now as well. I tell you, a couple of us tried joining a few sessions, and EVERY one there was some pesky kid talking trash to everyone cuz mommy wasn't home and wouldn't smack him for being an ass. And then there was the f*ck you Yank ass American crowd. WTF?

In all seriousness, about 1/5 games I play has kids like that. But before they can finish telling me how gay I am they're muted.

Not sure if you've ever played an online game before, because there is, inevitably, going to be some people who aren't your ideal demographic. My suggestion to you is to play RANKED matches. I play Team Slayer nightly and I never have to deal with kids or assholes. And if I do, I mute them. It's so easy. The differences in team chat from ranked to social makes all the difference in the world. The fact that you have, er, most always have serious players in ranked helps alot too. It's not like you would get your ass kicked in Ranked (I'm assuming you suck, otherwise you wouldn't be complaining so much and the fact that you play Social playlists) because there's a system that matches you with people of equal skill. And that same system, while it catches a bunch of fucktards in the lower skill levels, tends to clean up alot about level 10 in Team Slayer. Man up, keep slaying, and stop bitching.

yeah it did sound a bit assholish, if thats a word. But heres my point. I play the game to play with my friends, but we're never enough to fill up a whole map, unlike when all my friends played it when it first came out. Right, well can't do that in ranked games. Second point, I dont suck - actually i'm quite good. I havent played the game much except for a few week binge when it came out. And do be honest except for the other night, I haven't played it since. I like the game, I'm not by any means bashing your game. I just tend to find less mature people in the games I do join. And I know that not all teenagers aren't complete idiots, to be honest I'm sure I play with a lot more than I realize because they're either quiet or talk in such a reasonable demeanor.
Unfortunately I don't find myself in the most neutral territory when it comes to saying anything bad about Halo 3 or its social network - but thats okay, like I said I really like the game, its just not worth it for me to spend so much time trying to find a decent game to play in, therefore I tend to play games that based on my experiences have been more entertaining. I'm sure when I gain interest in it again the players then have filtered out to more serious or sociable people.
