In their most recent entry, they talk about the history of the Turok franchise, how they got involved with the game and tell of the basic storyline. Be sure to note that the new Turok has no relation to the story presented in the previous games, it's what the industry calls starting on a clean slate. So, if you're looking forward to dinosaur killing next year, be sure to bookmark the new Turok blog for upcoming interviews, dev talk and other random dinosaur bits in the weeks to come. All we're hoping for is a glimpse at a triceratops. We love triceratops'.

Why must they continue to make games for this series? I swear its in a continuous cycle like Too Human.
Announced--->Delayed--->Delayed--->Announced again--->Released and then no one cares.

@1 - I'm a graphic designer
The logo suits the new story of Turok. A futuristic and sharp edged typeface that mirrors the danger that awaits the player. It's very readable when scaled small and big. And It works negative and positive. Sooo It looks professional. So thumbs up from me.
So I think what Mauricio meant to say was:
"I don't know shit about graphics but i must say i dont like your logo because my dad gouged out my eyes with his cock when I tried to suck it."
.

RE: MOSCHOPS
That was a bit heavy don't you think? I work at a design egency working on the Packaging and Consumer Ads for Turok stateside. Personally not a big fan of the logo either and even curiouser why they are making this game at all (based on experience with the previous versions). That being said, the game looks pretty sick... I just wish we weren't so tied to what I believe is the brittish design.

Re:JunglistGamer
I'd imagine they are going ahead with the game due to great name recognition and general kick-ass design. (Blowing up Dinos = fun)

The original Turok for N64 is still the best. I think all subsequent incarnations were disappointing. Although, I'm eager to check this one out. Still love the concept.
Yeah, that was a really harsh response by MOSCHOPS. Almost like he designed the logo and is terribly defensive about it.

Turok on N64 (and even the sequel, despite its maze-like qualities at times) was a pretty solid game for its time and, really, there is a lot of promise in the series if someone pulls it off right. I don't mind them trying it again. If it sucks, it's not like I have to buy it.
I don't really mind the logo.

WOW MOSCHOPS. Who knew my opinion about the typeface would warrant such a response from a moron.
You shouldn’t focus too much on what message you want to convey. Instead, you should focus on the end product and if it looks good. You really think the people that created the font really thought to themselves and said "A futuristic and sharp edged typeface that mirrors the danger that awaits the player". You make yourself sound like a Used Car Salesman trying to come up with “lines” so that your client buys your shit product.
Whoever thought the "K" in turok would make a good Dinosaur footprint was sadly mistaken. If you have no clue what Turok is you can easily mistake the "K" for a logo and read it as "TURO"
MOSCHOP come back down from your cloud. you think too highly of your "skills" as a Graphic Designer.

Alright, enough of your pissy flame wars.
Whats really important is: When are the original Turok's coming to the XBL?
All would be guaranteed buys by me.
