Alright, we should start by saying that we know nothing about Battlestar Galactica. So, don't expect any pithy in-jokes in this post. At least, don't expect any about Battlestar Galactica. So, let's just get to the meat then: Battlestar Galactica is making its way to Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday. The game will feature 10 single-player missions as well as a multiplayer component that supports up to 8 players on Xbox Live. The single-player campaign features battles taken from the show, while the multiplayer allows players to dog it out as one of 8 different Human or Cylon ships (4 of each). Battlestar Galactica will be available for 800 MS Points.
Finally, they'll have something new to talk about on Battlestar Galactica Forum.

Dare I say War World or SWOS? We can't expect anything on the Arcade next week until confirmed by MS.

@4 Didn't we hear about War World via a press release from the developers?

@4 Sorry you were right. After some digging, War World was confirmed by the developers on the official forums, not a press release.

Definetly watch the show. So you can understand better how awesome this show is, it's the Portal of Television... in that it's awesome, not short. It's not exactly funny (actually it's really sort of depressing in a lot of cases) but it's really well made and uh... go watch it now.

When you have finally watched the show, oh blog poster who knows not what BSG 2003 is or how amazing it has become, you will look back on this time and wonder how it was you wasted it by not knowing BSG. It is that fracking good. If nothing else, it abounds with ridiculous levels of eye candy of both the male and female varieties, though selling the amazing cast just on their genetically superior appearance (well, most of them anyway-damn fine actor though) is really selling them short. James Callis as Baltar in particular has been nothing short of genius, and I'll leave it at that as you really should watch the show from the initial miniseries to the end of season 3 (if you hurry and start now you can do it before the Nov. 24th premiere of Razor) before you hear too much about the story. You might want to wait though, the HD-DVD Box Set of the Miniseries plus Season 1 is coming in December :)
Oh, and I'll be buying this game even if it sucks, which is horrible on some level but I just can't bring myself to care, sometimes you have to roll the hard 6 on XBLA games :)
