The Red Ring of Death may not be making as many headlines as it used to, but that doesn't mean it's not still out there, lurking in the shadows, and waiting to strike down your beloved 360. In the not terribly unlikely even that this should happen to someone that you know, you might think about sending them one of these condolence cards. Handcrafted by Etsy user bsangel, the cards feature a red ring formed by glued on crystals on the front. The inside contains a simple message with a sneaky play on the word "console."
You'd better hurry though, there's only one left at bsangel's store as of this writing. Then again, you could probably make your own without much effort at all. Just make sure whoever you give it to has a sense of humor.

Hrm, isn't it the top right, bottom right, and bottom left rings that light up red?

@7
Did you ever think that it COULD be your environment and NOT the 360's that MS sends? Do you use any cooling at all?

it's an easy fix, i did it myself, my 360 rrod the other day so i just took it apart and applied new makeshift heatsinks out of pieces of eraser on the memory chips and i havn't had the rrod sense and i left the unit turned on all night to see if it would do it but when i got up in the morning, it was fine.

i live in Nigeria in west Africa, and my country's really hot during the dry season.At first hearing about the rrod scared me,but the hardcore lib of games just pulled me in.i've had my 360 for just over a year now, and its been working fine. I saw the extra fans on sale at a store.the ones that keep the 360 standing and i got em.Theres no microsoft in my country, so that means 360 user's get no warranty.you guys are really lucky. any way, there are way way more 360 users in My coutry than ps3, followed by the wii. I have the wii also, but enjoy the deeper titles on the 360.the wii games are at best shallow apart from metroid, paper mario and zelda

I just got my RROD. Unplugged the power and plug for a few minutes, plugged it back in and it worked, signed in to Gears of War, tried to switch back to Halo 3 but it just went blank screen and back to red rings of death. Everyone though gets a 3-year warranty even though I wasted my money on a 1 year warranty prior, and I 've had my console for 1 year and 1 month. oh well, I guess I played too much Halo 3 and just gotta get out more! waiting for the box to ship it back, might get it back in 3-4 weeks. hard drive failure apparently and after getting close to my limit.
