The demo for Cliver Barker's Jericho is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. The game centers around a sort of paranormal SWAT team called in to fight the evils of the world. Of course, by evils we mean the otherworldly kind. Each member of the squad has a different weapon set and paranormal specialty like telekinesis or the ability to summon fire. By switching between the various squad members, players can combine their abilities to make the best of any given situation. We'd tell you once again that Joystiq was impressed with the game at E3, but now you can try it out for yourself. Ain't Xbox Live grand?

Bioshock didn't invent that concept, but Jericho seems to have a lot of its own little ideas. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm really not even sure why developers are bothering to put out games now that Halo 3 is out.
They need to at least give people a month before they put out a new game. The next game I plan on getting is Guitar Hero 3. They are at least waiting until October 29th. Smart.

The demo is very sick and bloody!! I can't wait to play the full version, some cool things going on in the demo.....
I personally think Halo 3 is a dissappointment, at least graphically, gameplay is pure Halo though.
I think COD 4 will be the game of the year although it will be very tough to make a game better than Bioshock!!

@ANt- I agree 100% we all knew what we were gonna get. More of the same HALO STUFF. Yeah eyah new weapons but the gameplay hasnt changed nothing diff. you basically can go thro and beat this game the same way you ebat the other.
Games like BIOSHOCK,JERICHO and COD4 have given us all some interesting new gametypes and playing styles to enjoy.
Iam not saying HALO3 is a bust or it isnt good. But have they really given us anything more then an upgrade of the same good halo style? I guess if its NOT BROKE DONT FIX IT..
