You didn't think all this talk of
Rock Band 2 made us forget about the beloved original, did you? This week in
Rock Band Weekly,
Harmonix brings us a double-shot of Rush and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Rock Band tracks drop
Tuesday, July 8, for 160MS Points ($2) a piece.
- "Closer to the Heart" - Rush
- "Working Man (Vault Edition)" - Rush
- "Snow (Hey, Oh)" - Red Hot Chili Peppers
- "Tell Me Baby" - Red Hot Chili Peppers
All releases this week are master tracks, a trend we like seeing continue with Rock Band. Rock Band enthusiasts will remember a cover-cut of "Working Man" was already made available in previous Rock Band DLC, but this alternative cut is all Rush.

Oh man! Closer to the Heart was definitely on my most-wanted list, same with Snow!
This week is A+++ WOULD DOWNLOAD AGAIN.

I believe Working Man was John Rutsey (RIP) not Neil Peart. Neil Peart was not their original drummer. Rutsey had health problems (diabetes I believe)and was not able to do long tours. So he stepped down and then Alex and Geddy found Neil.
