Pro Evolution Soccer dated for Europe

European ~~soccer~~ football fans will be excited to know that Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 has been dated and will release to Europe on October 26th. Though, Konami did not announce a US release date and is still sticking with its "Winter 2007" vagueness. But then again US gamers are generally less than enthused about soccer games instead hovering towards their Maddens and other sports titles, so maybe Konami could be less than enthused about announcing the US release date. Maybe a little eye for an eye treatment. Never-less, October 26th is the date for Europe, so mark those official Winning Eleven calendars now.

I am actually going to go with FIFA 08 this year. Sorry for being so off topic.

LCD prices are going down like crazy where I am (Calgary). For example the tv I wanted the 32" Sharp Aquos 1080p has gone from $1499 to $1299 and now $1199.

But so have lots of other tvs. The 42" Sharp Aquos 1080p is down to $1499. The 40" Sony Bravia 1080p is down to $1488.

So which one should I go for?

C. Ronaldo is such an arrogant bastard. I'll buy FIFA 08 just because of that.

Kidding :P But I think PES is boring as hell. Then again, FIFA isn't that great either. They need to make FIFA 99 available for XBLA. THAT would be awesome.

PES has always been better than fifa because it's more challenging than just running up and shooting. You could score 6 times in a half without breaking a sweat.

I will admit though that PES4&5 played really badly when compared to 3&6. but i have high hopes for this 360 version.

Nope, but chances are that there will be a region free version on www.play-asia.com pretty soon after the release. You could check that out

Hey did you guys know that x-box 360 suck big time when it come to football especially america ain't supporting football as much as they so call football i mean oval football like nrl. Just look at fifa 07 and pes 06 both of it suck big time and it not as good as ps2 version and pc version I think developer should stop may a fool out of themselves to make football games for x-box 360, so those who are fan of football like i am don't bother but it on x-box 360 cause your will shutter down just like last year i recommended you to experience it full potential on ps2, ps3 wii, and Pc, ds, psp NOT x-box 360 CAUSE IT SUCK
