Yesterday, Activision announced that they'll be including a special Guitar Hero III demo on the disc of the October 9th release of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground. Proving Ground purchasers will be treated a GH III demo featuring five musical tracks which include "Lay Down" by Priestess, "Even Flow" by Pearl Jam, "The Metal" by Tenacious D, "Hit Me with your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar and "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by the Scorpions. But fret not rockers who dislike skating games, because the GH III demo will be available for download off the XBLM two weeks after Proving Ground hits retailers, sometime around October 23rd. Yea, thats kinda gay, but its not the first time that demos (albeit not exclusive) have been included with shipping games...I know there were a couple games on PS2 that did this...

I'm still undecided on Proving Ground yet, but I'll be downloading the GHIII demo for sure if I don't pick up Tony.
I'm gonna be rocking 'The Metal' with the volume turned all the way up to 11. Yes 11. Spinal Tap stylee!

I still have yet to try skate demo, but no way im not getting proving ground. The thing is, I dont own a guitar nor care about GH 3, so the demo is useless for me. Actually, Im not even gonna buy TH for some time, as come september 25th, im sure its gonna be at least 4 or 5 months before I can even look at another game :0
