Holiday console bundles are nearly a guarantee every year and by the looks of the images above, we think we know what Microsoft's plans are for Christmas '07. French website gamick.fr was browsing a Microsoft marketing website when they stumbled across the two console packaging images above (which have since been pulled) labeled as "Holiday Value Bundles" which state that both
Marvel Ultimate Alliance and
Forza Motorsport 2 are included in the box. Oh joy!
So, it looks like some territory will be receiving two free games with the purchase of an Elite or Premium (now Pro?) Xbox 360 this holiday, but the big question is who? Remember, a French website found these images, so which territory will be receiving this exact bundle is still a mystery. And is it just us or you loving the whole "Go Big" and "Go Pro" marketing thing too?

Somehow I thought the "premium" 360 was actually "Pro" from day one, wasn't it?

Im diggin' the big/pro as well, it was the first thing that caught me eye actually. I might be getting my g/f a premium for x-mas (or getting one for myself and giving her my current one!) so this would be a good deal. Her and I have almost beat MUA (through rentals) but it would be good to finish it, and I've yet to even play the retail version of Forza.

If it gets more people online with Forza 2, I'm happy.

i dunno if the words on the boxes indicate a rename, but i think it should be much less confusing for mainstream buyers than the core, premium and elite monikers.
i some how doubt they would rename the elite the "big".

actually on second look,
it's probably just going to be an "xbox 360" or an "xbox 360 elite", looks like they are making the names simpler with the inevitable drop of the core.

Oh so just because it's black, it's go big?? WTF?? Very funny Microsoft.
lol, j/k
Before anybody says it though, no they're obviously not renaming the Premium to Pro. Hell it's technically not even the premium anyway, it's just "Xbox 360" for that one. They're not renaming the Elite to Big so....

Grant, that one has always been named just "Xbox 360" from day one. We just all call it Premium to differentiate. At launch it was just the "Xbox 360" and the "Xbox 360 Core".

these are probably the holiday bundles for the Canadian market. They had Graw + live arcade last holiday, and forza 2 or COD3 over the summer. Now the COD3s are done, and the forza 2s are being finished, so this new bundle seems right for replacment.

This is a nice bundle, but Dirt would have been a better racing game to include with it.

If this bundle includes an elite with a falcon chipset, I will jump in. Given last week's price drop I think holiday season 07 will be the time I finally pick one up.

I'm thinking the 2-game deal will definitely drive more sales, not only because of the holidays but also because those are some of the best games on the system. But I really didn't need to say that, did I?

Sweet, two games I could care less about!
Oh well, at least they are trying and this sets a positive precedent for bundles to come. Now if they could just give us a bundled HDDVD drive...

This helps support the rumor that there are not going to make core consoles anymore. Why is there no "GO SMALL" bundle for the core console. This is the only thing I don't like about the 360. Not having every console have a HDD is limiting the developers.
