Adjutant Reflex hints at possible Halo 3 ARG

Cryptic messages have been appearing on the forums over at Bungie.net and halo.bungie.org from a mysterious "thing" that goes by the name of Adjutant Reflex. It talks of data, hibernation, and events related to the Halo universe all while maintaining a veil of secrecy. Just what are we talking about? Well, simply put, things are coming together that make us believe that a new ilovebees style alternate reality game is about to begin, but Halo 3 style.

Adjutant Reflex seems to be some sort of in-game AI who's data-mining the internets, responding cryptically to user's questions, and is connected to the Bungie.net and HBO forums. Communication, details, and knowledge about this whole Adjutant Reflex stuff is a little over our heads right now, which heavily favors the idea of a complex new ARG getting ready to begin. But what we can tell you is that this "thing" has stated that "Archives/Resources will be compiled" at around 1:00AM PST Thursday morning, so hopefully we'll get a feel for what's going on at that time. Until then, we advise checking out Hushed Casket's writeup of the events that have taken place including all kinds of links or checking out the UnFiction forums where experienced ARGers are looking into this.

If this is a new Halo 3 ARG similar to ilovebees you can count us in. We just loved the adventure and community behind the fun. But what about you? Did you follow ilovebees and do you enjoy this alternate reality gaming?

I think it might be something similar to Perplex City. I remember the 1up show peeps playing it once. Its a game where you have to track down clues in the real world. Basically go from place to place hunting for clues..

This "Adjutant Reflex" is a Monitor. The question is which installation does he belong to? Could it be "The Ark" ?

Unfortunately there is no way of understanding his origin, his responses or his claims until the official storyline is released.

Strangely enough, I have a copy of the 4th draft of the game's script... The monitor of "The Ark" is named "Shameful Anomaly"...

Maybe this will help...

The word "Adjutant" comes from the Latin adiutans, present participle of the verb adiutare, "to help" or "to assist" possibly even "Assistant"

The rank/term "Adjutant General" is used for the principal staff officer of an army, through whom the commanding general receives communications and issues military orders

The term "Adjutant" is also a species of bird known for killing snakes.

A reflex action or reflex is a control system which causes an involuntary automated reaction.

This monitor must be some sort of system or program designed for quick and instant Responses/Communication to opposing threats, potential hazards and/or outside Breaches of system protocol.

And strangely enough.. The coordinates given to us by this "Adjutant Reflex" end up taking us to Africa, in specific Kenya. (The approx location of "The Ark").

Is this scary shit or what?

It may seem like I have wayy too much time on my hands but truth is I just find all of this FUCKING FASCINATING !!

Bungie = Genius

All I have to say is... Kenya Dig It ??

That's Crazy !! Good Job Dragod !!

Also Figured this out...

Adjutant = A (Faciltator/Assistant)
Reflex = R (Responsive)
Compound = C (Place/structure)
Intelligence = I (AI/Monitor)

*ARC INTELLIGENCE*

Althouth it's spelt wrong... I don't think it's a coincidence. On top of all that, this "Adjutant Reflex" claims it has been exactly 871,803,909 hours since the last time Halo's system was activated...

Here's what I figured out:

Hours in a year = 8,765.81277

Hours passed since activation as cited by AdjutantReflex =

871,803,909 / 8,765.81277 =

99454.999995396890047880865244627

Rounded, that's exactly 99455 years since activation.

100,000 - 99455 = 545

We're in year 2007. The events in the Halo story arc take place in the year 2552.

2552 - 2007 = 545

Is that some Crazy shit or what?

I'm excited...

Well, fontez, the way it's been written down it was "ark" from where I saw it... that's what I searched for.

I really want to get into this, it'd be fun.
