2. was that movie even selling on regular DVD?...let alone HD-DVD...LOL!

3. Please just buy and support blu-ray. Even if you hate Sony (most people reading this) Blu-ray is going to win.

Pretty nice batch of movies here, enough to satisfy any customer.

4. you know, when people say "please buy my product" it doesn't really convince me that it's much of a value. I'll stick with my hd-dvd, thanks

5. I concur, I bought HD DVD and I'm very pleased with it, but I'm getting impatient for Jurassic Park HD DVD (its a Universal film). I'm not caving just because you or some PS3 owner told me too, both formats are in their infancy and a few million players is peanuts compared to the number of DVD players out there. If HD DVD fails, I'll still be pleased with what I have. Lord knows that if it does fail maybe all existing HD DVDs will be clearanced and I'll build myself a nice collection.

6. HD DVDs are going to be around for a long time. The end of this format war will be dual-format HD players.

I think once we realize that it doesn't matter what we buy, because it'll all be supported in the near future, more consumers will start converting to HD discs.

It would be nice if MS released a dual format HD player for the Xbox to speed that notion along.

7. I'm happy with my HD DVD. I look at like I got into HiDef DVDs for $160 ($40 CC coupon!) and I'm paying about a $5 premium over regular DVDs. But man, after watching almost all HD Network Television, and HD movies, watching a movie in DVD format just blows.

And with Toshiba dropping the price so much on HD DVD players, maybe enough folks will snap them up to take the lead and either Fox or Disney will make the jump to HD DVD.

8. The Frighteners is the only movie in that list I'd like to see again. I think I just watched it within the last year. So, I'll probably wait a while and then give it a rent.

9. "Please just buy and support blu-ray. Even if you hate Sony (most people reading this) Blu-ray is going to win."

If you love DRM and want more of it, buy bluray.

10. I'll buy and support anything that isn't made by Sony, even if I have to go back to VHS.

This week is ok, but my corneas are still recovering from the Matrix and Planet Earth.

11. The Frighteners is a MUST BUY.

The movie was hilariously unique. Seriously...I am picking mine up asap.

12. Ah, The Frighteners. That movie was seriously underrated!

Not like I'm going to buy it twice, of course.
