1. "it's all about the giant robots blowing the crap out of each other"

sounds fun! I hope this doesn't land it the dreaded AO rating.

3. Also Tencho and [eM] -eNCHANT arM-

They've been a good supporter of Microsoft hardware. Loved Otogi and Otogi 2. Wish they were BC.

4. A possibly interesting factoid:

From Software has already cancelled two PS3 titles:

Dark RPG and Black Blade.

5. I hope the remains of the giant robots dont disappear into the ground, or exisiting in a bare world, or any of the many other things wrong with chromehounds.

hopefully they will get it right with their poster boy franchise.

becasue FROM Software you are 0-1.

6. Are those in game or cutscene vids? Every A.C. game I've seen looks fantastic in the pre-rendered opening videos, but the actual game play and look is *nothing* like the fast paced video.
Hell, they only added analog stick support in AC3! When I see the demo on XBL look/play like this, then I'll believe it.

7. And yet... FROM Software can't seem to make a GOOD mech game.

Okay, that's kinda unfair, especially considering that I haven't actually played chromehounds (waiting for the demo). However, my experience with AC is simply that the gameplay, mission design, controls, and basically every aspect of the game is horrible. the only exception is the 'build a mech' aspect is incredibly (too?) in depth.

I honestly do wish FROM Software would spend less time on the mech building aspect, and more on every other part of the game. the francise always had potential... but they always blow it.

8. These guys made Chromehounds and have totally lost faith in FROM software. While the online play for Chromehounds is decent(barely) the graphics are a huge let down. The landscape is like painted on xbox1 graphics, huge fireball explosions only to see the object never break apart but just fade away. Poor controller/HUD layout. I mean you should have crosshairs at all times and that little screen on the right is more annoying than it is innovative or helpful. To think they are doing more Mech stuff is laughable. I really hope they get their act together because I felt ripped off on the first $60 purchase from them.
