1. I wonder if they were trying to fit the system's core audience w/ the new realistic looking graphics? It's almost the reverse of being Nintendo-ized.

I agree though, they should've kept the look the same and they still could've updated the graphics (a la smash bros.). Hopefully they'll learn and give us classic Bomberman. I'm still gonna give it a try though, could be fun.

Every game should have local multiplayer, except maybe RPGs, but even then split-screening with two IDs could be done.

4. Im not going to judge until I play the game. PErsonally, I hate all the bomberman 2d games like that saturn one you posted there. there all so boring.

As for local multiplayer, Im used to it now after playing farcry which doesent support online more then 1 player and BF2 which is online only.

I recently sold my 2nd 360 controller because it was never being used. After playing 16+ player games online nowadays, I can never go back to boring 4 player matches. Even if I got 3 friends over who want to play, we all want to play on a team vs others online, so if games have local multiplayer but cant take guests online, then it doesent matter anyway as usually local 4 player games are just won every round by me because I own the system and game. Perhaps we need a game like fusion frenzy or some mario party type game to have fun with just 4.

Currently, out of the 80 or whatever games for xbox 360, only 2 games support 4 players on 1 system heading online. These 2 games are perfect dark zero and GRAW. Its a real shame that after almost a year, we only have 2 games for this. Now does GOW support 4 players online together on 1 console?

6. What's the point of having bomberman if you can't invite your friends for a beer, pizzas and 4 controllers fun?

Every sunday we'd gather at home playing Bomberman Battles on the PS2.. nobody understood japanese, and it was great fun.

Sure, i've been dreaming on playing it online (didn't have a saturn or a dreamcast), but why sacrifice the offline gameplay for that????

Huge bomberman fan disapointed.

(btw, bomberman 2 on the snes was the best one for me)

7. Did anyone notice while watching this trailer that there appeared to be a brief shot of a screen divided into four quadrants? I thought I saw it for a second. But given that everything I've seen so far that says "no local multiplayer," I wonder if I must have been dreaming.

8. The BEST Bomberman game ever made was the one for the Sega Saturn that allowed up to 12 players to play at the same time.

Here is some advice:

1. Release the Sega Saturn version of Bomberman for the Xbox Live Arcade.

2. Allow the 12 player feature to be used in a way that can be played with 12 players in an online environment.

3. Allow up to 4 players to play together using the Xbox 360 and its ability to use 4 controllers at the same time.

4. Allow Xbox 360 users to create a room that will allow 4 players on one Xbox 360 to play together from their livingroom, and also play with up to 8 other people online for a total of 12 players playing together.

This game would be SUPER POPULAR on the Xbox Live Arcade!!!
