Capcom gave the Xbox 360 a little extra love on launch day in Japan with the announcement of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition.
We have no idea what the game is really all about, but it looks like we've got a hero who can't remember his past, a "special limb", bad voiceovers, a lost planet and some extreme conditions. And that's good enough for us, we're loving what we've see so far.
Though the game isn't slated for release until late next year, the just-released trailer has plenty of in-game goodness to behold. Much of the game's microsite is in Japanese, but the trailer is in English (with Japanese subtitles).

Damn! If that is in game footage then there are hundreds of moving creatures on screen at any given time. It looked amazing, kinda like the mech version of devil may cry. Looking forward to hearing more about this game!

it does look great, but how well will it get along with cromehounds? both of these games are mech driven, but as you said hundreds of enemys at once sounds like fun. hopefully it is not a bust that really suchs.

Holy mother of god, if the visible hud is anything to go by then those were in game graphics, and they were incredible... more enemies on screen than my brain could possibly deal with- although heat-absorbing-arm-dude didn't seem to have any trouble dispatching them.
