Listen, im just shocked that a game that is 2 years old (GOW) stays in the top ten consistently, it never fails to find people playing online, i love it.

I just stopped playing Halo 3 for awhile and picked COD4 back up again...maybe this is as close as a few UU? (Secretly believes he has the power to control most played game)

It's too bad the exact numbers of UUs never are revealed...it would be interesting to see just how close the two are.

CoD4 is great , but nothing compared to what HALO 3 became. nothing can beat the online experience that halo 3 offers.

COD 4 multiplayer is a NOOB game that’s mainly the main reason for its success. The single player was so repetitive, there was little to no variety accept maybe when you use the javelin or sniper rifles, the rest of the game is pretty much the same thing the whole way through. I only played through it about 2 times then I got tired of it, because killing the same enemies over and over and over and over again just isn’t very fun. Now halo on the other hand had tons of variety with vehicles, weapons, enemies, scales of the levels and more. Now COD4s multiplayer is what I didn’t like about the game mainly because it was way too easy, it wasn’t skill based it is way to easy to kill other people and it just wasn’t that good its just so appealing to most people because its one of the only games they feel there good at. Halo 3 on the other hand takes skill, it has multiple ways to get out of different situations and most of the time doesn’t take one pull of the trigger to get a kill the way it does in COD4. In halo 3 your rank actually means something because you don’t get a high rank just for playing a lot, you have to play skill based games and prove that you’re better then others not just sitting around and playing like shit and still climb up ranks, the way you do in COD4. I was done with COD4 about 2 months after it came out sure I thought it was the shit at the time but i got tired of it because it was too damn easy and didn’t mean anything, it was just a waste of time. To this day I still play Halo 3 because there is so much to do with forge, custom games, saved films, playing with skulls on campaign, climbing ranks, earning armor, achievements, 4 player co-op, and the fact that bungie extends the games life with coming out with new maps, different double exp weekends and events, and they reward people for doing kool stuff. I think IW could use a few lessons from bungie.

i played cod 4 for maybe 20 minutes this week, and wow, i never realized HOW GARBAGE IT IS!!!
i was so bored playing it, that i was just team killing to amuse myself. then i got a call from eb games saying my too human pre order came in, so im gonna be taking a break from all FPS for about 2 months now :). too human is AMAZZIIINNNNGGGG.

CoD4 is much better than halo 3 i stopped playing halo off line after the first mission witch is set in Africa and only shows 1 maybe 2 black people now i aint being funny but something is seriously wrong, also online CoD4 woops halo once again the bullet damage is much more realistic and there is no chance of shooting the crap out of someone just to have them turn around and smack you in the mouth and kill you, also CoD4 offers hardcore mode in witch bullet damage is very realistic in most cases its one or 2 shot kill, but at the same time old school free for all offers double health and for all you halo jumpers out there lowered gravity, so all in all CoD4 is so much better for game play and there isn't as many 10 year old who's voices aint broken screaming down the mike.

Loves me some COD4 baby. Sure there is some repetition (you are a human killing other humans; no aliens) and the rank doesn't necessarily reflect skill, but it is still a very enjoyable game in my opinion.
