If you're looking forward to a BIG Xbox 360 announcement out of Microsoft during the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany later this month, we advise not getting your hopes up. Videogaming247 is reporting that Microsoft will not be holding any press conferences during Leipzig, but will be attending with floor space including behind closed door meetings and demos. So, to us, it's pretty easy math. No press conference + no hype = no huge Leipzig Xbox 360 announcements. Sad stuff.[Via Eurogamer]

This is really a silly mistake for Microsoft. Sony will now be the only one of the big 3 having a "conference" showing. Of course Nintendo don't have to have a showing seeing as they are on top but for Microsoft? They need the publicity in Europe. Giving away a chance to shout about how much better you are than the competition is a foolish mistake and one that will only strengthen Sony's control of Europe.

Liepzig is THE game show in Europe. I just can't understand how MS came to that decision.
You'd think they'd want to do an even better show than Sony when it comes to Europe.
