Years in the making. Anticipation of epic proportions. Finally you hear the words you've longed for since it was first teased on an executive's bicep; Grand Theft Auto IV has gone gold and is being pressed as we speak.
Releasing on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 29, 2008, Rockstar Games' GTA IV marks a fresh chapter in one of the most controversial game universes, ever.
Expected to increase hardware sales and lower productivity around the globe, GTA IV is 11 days away from retail and our excitement couldn't even be described. So how are you spending the next 11 days?
GTA IV nabs gold, hides out until April 29

I just wanted to say that I am really not looking forward to this game coming out because I just moved out of state and I'm currently looking for a job and I have a feeling I'm not going to find one until this comes out. Once I get my hands on this I doubt I'll be able to get my priorities straight.

I'm gonna get it on 360 too, but then I think, the size of the game that is GTAIV, won't my 3rd Xbox die its red death sooner than later?

I am doing the same thing I have been doing for the last few weeks. FREAKING OUT!!! THis is my most anticipated game for the 360 so far and I cannot wait! I spend all of my free time trying to find the right combination of words to find the GTA IV holy grail of google searches. I haven't found it yet though. : (

Looking for a place to pre-order this game. Does anyone know where they give you the best "free-stuff"?

I've got my reserve mostly paid off, been reading all the previews online, catching the vids on Live and on sites, but still as of today, I'm just riding the wave.
I've owned all of the GTA games but never beaten any of them. I hope that IV turns that around for me; my intent is to finish it, but we'll see.
Multiplayer may be the best thing the series has ever gotten, especially coupled with the 360.
I'm still a LOT more excited for Alone In The Dark than GTA IV but I AM excited to see the new technological upgrades in Liberty City.
(What can I say? I'm a real-world gaming physics geek.)

Gone Gold, eh? Well now watch for real 'broken street date' videos now online.
Going into a hole and try hard not to read any thing related to GTA IV. I want this game to be a total suprise once I fire it up.

Ditto, I'm not reading or watching anything that has to do with GTA IV gameplay, I'd much rather have it all be fresh and exciting when I first play it. It's tough to avoid it, but i've made it this far I think I can stick it out.. :-)
