Semi-confirming industry analysts' predictions, BioWare senior manager Matt Atwood told CVG that Mass Effect 2 will more than likely be a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360. When talking about the Mass Effect trilogy and how it'll be released, Atwood revealed that he believes "we'll be Xbox 360 exclusive for at least a short period of time." Atwood goes on to say that they've "had a great relationship with Microsoft and done very well", but that they are still working out specifics regarding future Mass Effect releases. Later in the interview, it was also revealed that BioWare plans on releasing Mass Effect 2 onto the PC similar to how Mass Effect will be releasing to the PC platform this May saying that "you'll see a PC version not too far away."
With the next-gen wars heating up and BioWare getting gobbled up by EA, we're more than happy with an Xbox 360 timed exclusive release as a straight up exclusive 360 release was starting to look unlikely. We just hope BioWare stays on top of their game and doesn't let multiple platform releases mess with their nearly perfect formula.

I don't think this will come to the ps3.
If it does though, can you imagine how slow those elevators will be?

Nice try, except for the fact that Bioware aren't the lazy developers you think they are. I think that this time they'll get it right, on both platforms.
Shame on you.

Gonna be good on PS3, none of those framerate problems that affect the 360 version of Mass Effect.

The article is worded kind of strangely and kind of just gives the impression that the PC version is what will appear after the timed exclusativity... It doesn't seem to imply that other consoles will see it.
I'd not be surprised, but I guess we'll see.

It's really a smart move to make this a 360 exclusive.
If they had it out on the other systems/consoles I would imagine..
The PC version you could play after you put 1500.00 into the hardware, and then use of 4-6 gigs of HDD space and hope that it runs good...
You could get the PS3 version, which will most likely have crappy framerate... (even after it took longer to make given the inferior dev tools they have for the POS3
Heck you could even get a Wii version but then it will look about 5 years out of date, but gee you can you your Wii controller to move oh the joy....
The 360 is the best system for it. EA/Bioware is smart enough realize this, I am glad they don't listen to the ramblings of the NintenDOZE/Paystation Fanboys...

I am confident Mass Effect will come to the PS3, my console of choice. I say Bioware makes great games, and everyone should be allowed to appreciate the wonderful work they do. And likewise, they should reap the awards of all that money. Plus with the functionality of HOME, the PS3 version would be especially bad-ass. HOME will draw non-Microsoft committed companies, like EA to pick the PS3 over other consoles. I feel that upcoming months Sony will change the game, and next-gen for gaming will be redefined. Bioware should be part of the new next-gen that Sony will usher into the world...absolutely free to the gamer, unlike "Xbucks Live". When HOME releases, we will be wondering what we have been playing all this time. That being said, I think Mass Effect on any of the three consoles would be AWESOME!!
