Because they chose Halo 3? What was the original reason you stopped watching, because they chose Halo 2?

I don't get your reasoning... are you inferring that YOU think Halo 3 sucks and therefor anyone who thinks differently (or rather, has an opinion different than yours) is wrong? If so, that makes you an asshole.

I commented that I agreed and WHY I agreed. I ridicule someone who just proclaims, "What EXACTLY are they smoking" or "A excellent reminder of why I will never watch G4" and doesn't state a SINGLE REASON WHY as if their f'ing word is so important they don't have to.

It's just complete laziness. Call it an "opinion" if you want but I call it nothing more than some lazy douche with access to a keyboard and internet. That's my opinion and that's WHY I have that opinion.

AND FOR THE RECORD: Halo 3 as an overall package does so many things other games either don't do or don't do well and puts it all into one package with the GREAT quality Bungie is known for.

You want my opinion? My opinion is posted somewhere here, but basically Halo 3 not only DID NOT COME OUT THIS YEAR, it also pales in comparison to my now-favorite game, MGS4. NO, i don't love it becuase it's exclusive to PS3. I don't even love it becuase of anything Sony did (except create the PS3). I love Kojima's games, i think he's a genius, and i think MGS4 perfectly sums up a 20-year-old series as well as makes an amazing game not found in any medium, anywhere in the world.

THAT'S my opinion. Class dismissed.

Gphoria (and the Academy Awards) would be shitty award shows if they only accepted games since Jan 1. The holiday season would be left out every year.

This would have been my choice too. 4 player co-op(something that other games just aren't doing) and a great story. I had SO much fun with this game in the single player and multi-player.

When I stack up all the things I like about my favorite games, Halo 3 comes out on top.

I agree Zebra Niner, whether you go back to play the single player or multiplayer, most likely you're going to have an equally entertaining experience. I have to say that, for me, the in game movie saves are HUGE. I wish Gears of War had this feature... hell, I wish ALL games had this feature!!

Again, when you stack up everything that Halo 3 does, and it does everything very well - great, I can definitely see why it's the winner, even if it isn't what I'd choose personally.

I don't understand how a game that won no awards prior to this nomination could win GOTY. Oh well, Halo appeals to more people so it makes sense I guess. It was a solid game.
