That's right, you've known about it for a while and now you have a thirty minute wait until Infinity Ward opens up the flood gates on registration into the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare multiplayer beta to United States Xbox Live members. Today, at 12:00PM pacific (3:00PM eastern) simply head on over to the official CoD 4 website, answer three trivia questions correctly, sign up for the multiplayer beta and get your redemption code. But be warned, Infinity Ward has made it clear that the codes will be given out on a first come first serve basis, so you can almost expect their hosting servers to start on fire and people to get really, really angry. But not you, because you're in the know and already have the beta page open and are ready to sign up in a split second. Remember, today's beta sign up is for US residents only with other countries making it into the beta later on ... but not today. Good luck everyone, make us proud and get those CoD 4 multiplayer beta codes!Update 1: Sorry everyone ... all those CoD 4 beta tokens are already gone. Stupid servers crashed and we never got to register, but we just received image confirmation that the fun is over. We call shenanigans!

I wasn't too excited to get into the Beta, since there are too many games to play right now anyway, but this was a very poor way of doing the beta (both times now for CoD4) and I also won't be buying the game thanks to Halo 3, but I'll be renting it and I'll love it.

Here's the deal someone needs to start a petition at that petition website signing up users who refuse to buy the game due to this BS beta release and send it to Infinity Ward. They will have to cave in.

A solution to the site crashing would be to just send emails out to every member with trivia questions and other information to fill in. That way everyone would have a chance to get in.

I'm calling bullshit on all the tokens being reserved. If it is actually true, how many tokens were there? I managed to get into the beta page which redirected me to another link and I managed to get in there pretty quickly and at about 3:03pm the page said that all tokens were distributed or reserved.
Guess I'll have to wait till november 5th to have an actuall go at the game.

Although Charlie Oscar Delta's Token Codes have been reserved, there will be many more opportunities to get into the Beta! Check back into SITREP often, as we'll be updating the site with information as soon as it's finalized.
In the United States and Canada, we are working with GameSpot and GameStop on two new ways to reserve a spot in the Beta. Our International users will be excited to learn that plans to get into the Beta are moving along quickly, and we'll have updates for all the countries listed in the FAQ soon!

I dont understand how anyone couldve gotten into the site. It crashed like 20min before the release. So who honestly couldve had a chance. And what are they handing out 12 tokens at a time.
This sounds like they have serious issues with stability if they have to do this in waves.
IW just fess up cause ur killing ur fanbase.

This is in one word ridiculous, and its actually effecting my purchase of this product. Why make huge promises with no payout? There's no logical way for their system to work, and they should have figured that out the first time they tried to do it.
More than likely the gamespot/gamestop stuff you're going to have to pay something (especially gamestop, if I've ever seen a company about the money it's them). Put it on XBL or nothing. I'm ignoring CoD4 until they put it on XBL, or until after it's released and gets reviewed. I was definately looking forward to this game until this fiasco. It makes me stand back and wonder what else they could have screwwed up.
