7. I immediatly thought of Gephyrophobia remake when i saw that pic. That level was sure fun. Had 4 snipers too :p
Most so called halo fans have actually missed out on halo pc, which was actually one of the most fun experiences ever. Halo pc shipped with 6 new out door maps (compared with halo xbox which only contained 2 outdoor maps with vehicles (blood gulch and sidewinder). The thing is, the halo pc maps where damn near perfect. My favorite was deffenitly death island. Infinity was also great along with danger canyon.
I played halo 1 back when it came out for the xbox and thought it was fun but way to limiting for my to care anythign about it. Then when it came for pc I loved it so much, I bought an xbox just for halo 2 (since halo 2 now was online on xbox). And to this day im a 360 fanboy.
So heres hoping for a death island remake woot.

9. We already saw this map in one of the viddocs if I'm not mistaken, and in various interviews with bungie it's been talked about. That having been said, atleast IGN gets to claim (wrongly) that it had an exclusive for once in the past year.

10. It's hardly a Gephyrphobia remake. Where are the banshees? The massive pathways on either side of the canyon? That's a pretty big difference. Rather than a remake its more what Valhalla is to Coagulation.

11. I loved the extra maps with Halo PC that Gearbox made, especially Death Island.
The only similarity this new map has with Gephyrphobia is that it's based on a bridge...

12. There's no such thing as an 'original' map anymore, they're all derivative.. what matters is item placement & flow though. That can be original.

13. Listen, let's not get so damn techical here. A NEW map is a NEW map. Let's not for get that it's F'in Halo 3!! Not only is this game going to be an AWESOME Single/Co-op Player game but the Multi-Player On-Line battles are going to rule the 360 for years to come!! I could'nt stop playing the Beta, I'm sure that I won't be able to put down the full version of this game!!

16. Sweet as tits...well close to. I saw this last night and INSTANTLY fell in love with the map. Lets hope it also plays that well.
Helloimbob...the demo was delayed for technical reasons.
oh yea...Halo 3 FTW! I WILL be the greatest game for a long time coming. I doubt anything will really ever beat it.

19. Reminds me off facing worlds in Unreal Tournament. Looks good. Agree with @17. Simple ones are the best for pure fun and lightning fast action.
