Fighting fans take note: VF 5 on October 30

If you like fighting games, you'd best mark your calendar, because Sega has confirmed with GameSpot that Virtua Fighter 5 for the Xbox 360 will ship October 30. As we've reported before, the 360 version includes several new features beyond those found in the PS3 version. The biggest of these is undoubtedly online play. Other changes include smoother graphics, leaderboards, downloadable content, a deeper quest mode, and gameplay based off of the latest arcade revision. Now, if you'll excuse us, it's time to go place a pre-order.

4. wow it comes out in october no wonder the graphics will be better and there will be multiplayer if i had to wait(i wont by either versions) that long to play online i would forget about it and buy another title like Soul Cal. IV when ever that comes out. where are the 360 fanboys when you need them. whats that famous comment people use now a days for 07 to stomp on anything sony related? it doesnt matter? its only going to be forgoten because of Halo3, GTA IV, Mass Effect. Still seems like a sony exclusive to me if nobodies gonna buy it. doubles standerds much? when games are timed exclusives on the PS3 that comment comes up. when 360 gets late game its like OOOO yeah we snagged another one of sonys golden children. i think the site names should be changed from "fanboy" to "info". im not a fanboy i just wont the info on both my consoles.

5. Wow, BothWorlds, that sure does make a lot of sense. You are so right that the spelling and grammatical errors don't even matter. The whole world will completely gloss over that to say, "hark, this not just a nother fan-boy he believe what say he about teh ps3 and 360 live together with exclusives 4 eva mgs4 oooo sony oooo the truthiness has been spoken."

and you will rule. my only suggestion would be to learn how to spell and read over what you've written. please. it will help us all and reduce the probability of global thermonuclear war.

BTW, go VF5!

6. BestOfBothWorlds,

I'm not really sure where you're coming from ... All the article does is state what additions the 360 version has. If all you're looking for is the info, I hardly see how I could leave that out. There are no raving fanboy comments in this post at all, just the factual information you apparently want.

As for no one buying it, I will own it on day one. I also know someone who has it on PS3. He's buying the 360 version anyway because of the online play. I'm not interested in it because it used to be a PS3 exclusive. I'm interested in it because it's a fantastic fighting game, probably the best on the market.

Anyway, that's it. /rant

7. On devils night, I will be going to heaven with Virtua Fighter 5 Online for my Xbox 360!

I didn't get the PS3 version because I knew the Xbox 360 version would have better graphics, better artificial intelligence, more features, and of course, ONLINE PLAY!

I'm going to get the joystick for Virtua Fighter 5, too!

8. I read today in issue 22 of X360 (UKs best selling unoficial mag) that it wont have online play cos sega said 'potential lag from playing online would render the matches virtualy unplayable.' I hope they're wrong (Its on page 28 if anyone has the mag)
