Video: New Lumines Live! DLC on display
The next pack of downloadable content for Lumines Live! is being previewed over at GameTrailers and is also available in HD. It shows 5 or so seconds of each skin in what's being dubbed the "SOS Charity Campaign Pack". It will be released on June 27th, and will set you back 350 MS points, but at least you know that it's going towards a good cause. Would you be down with some more content for Lumines, or are you a little wary of Q Entertainment's take on micro-transactions?

I'll probably pick it up-- I like Lumines. But whoever they have playing this demo really sucks at the game.

I've completely stayed away from Lumines on XBLA...it seems to be a bottomless money pit.
I tried it on my PSP (Of which I sold a long time ago..let me premise that), but I was sheeiyt at it. I kept thinking in Tetris-mode and got owned.
Now, if there was new Geometry Wars content or even some Tetris XBLA action going on..count me in, jack!
....Or Bomberman.

The original price was a bit (I mean very) steep but the extra packs released in January were cheap and a good deal.
I'm looking forward for the new DLC on Wednesday: the 20 skins of the booster look like a good value.

Lumines and the 20-skin Advanced pack (or whatever) and whatever else I've purchased have come to almost 2000 MS points; easily the WORST VALUE ON XBLA.
Seriously, I only bought this game to play Local 2-Player, and despite my ridiculous investment in the game, I can still only play on that same goddamn background.
A Rip Off.

honestly, these songs sound like ass...give me shake ya body and shining already. friggin honestly. i bought the game, but i am not paying any more for microtransaction hell. f-that. they should have given me a full game to begin with and then i might consider adding to that game.

I am broke right now but I think there are some MS points left on my console. Seeing what the charity is (children orphaned because of AIDS) I would be proud to give to the cause.
Anyone know exactly what % of the proceeds go to the charity?
