Everyone has a Viva Piñata confession

It's true. We confess. We love Viva Piñata and we always have. And Viva Piñata Confessions has taught us that we aren't weird, we don't have a problem and that our love of the game isn't something we should be embarrassed about. Even our rebel of a game designer Cliffy B loves himself some Viva Piñata every once and a while. You too can come clean, you too can let go of all the built up anxiety and just do it ... confess. Confess that you love Viva Piñata and aren't afraid to tell the world.

And if our inspirational talk doesn't make you believe in the wonder that is Viva Piñata, be sure to check out the embedded video after the break. Those piñatas truly have an affect on a person's brain.

1. I loved Viva Pinata and I'm not ashamed! It was the very first game where I was able to get 1000/1000 achievements! I want some DLC for VP!

2. That game is so damn addictive. I had to take it back to the rental store and not look at it ever again it took over 2 weeks of my life.

3. I bought it preowned today and got a suprise. Somebody had bought a console bundle with VP and traded it in as soon as they got it, without even removing the seal. I got a brand new game at a cut down price :D RESULT!

4. usually my craptastic launch X360 freezes 1x every 3-4 hours. VP froze my X360 like no other game i've ever seen. 3-4x/hour at it's worst.

VP was kind of cute and fun. it was tough for me to get into it when it would freeze so often and so back to GameFly it went.

5. it's rather sad that it hasn't been selling well. it was one of my favorite games, and if there were to be a spin off, I would be sure to buy it.
DLC would be nice too.

6. It IS rather addictive - I was actually drawing "garden plans" at some point. Not to mention staying up until 4 in the morning just to breed that one extra Pinata. :D

7. I confess, I confess...I sit at home in my comfy chair, poked by the soft cussions, with a dishwasher rack strapped to my chest playing Viva Pinata. And I Am Not Ashamed! All hail the mighty cluckles!

8. Sorry, this game did not appeal to me. No matter what anyone says, MS/RARE needs help trying to attract the general audince to X360 with games of this nature.

Posted at 5:49PM on Jun 1st 2007 by The1

9. I'd just like to say that I knew the game was going to be full of win and awesome when it was first announced.

Posted at 6:15PM on Jun 1st 2007 by jabbertrack

10. This is the only Rare title I'ved liked since the NES was still a legitimate concern.

Posted at 6:20PM on Jun 1st 2007 by Dale

11. This game has to be one of the most original games MS & Rare have produced. I recently lent the game to a seasoned Gears player and he put Gears down in favour of Viva' he absolutely loves it. finds it addictive and can go back to it everytime and have something new to do.

Viva Pinata deserves to be up there with the best.

13. Kameo was good, but Viva was amazing

Posted at 6:25PM on Jun 1st 2007 by Anthony

14. Yeah, what the hell. Maybe %1 of people on the internet don't like. They don't even hate it, they don't like. And even then, they usually keep it because it was for someone else(spouse, child, roomate. Whatever) and EVEN THEN all these people are talking from experience(meaning they bought it) and yet... Sales are still not good...

Okay, this is what they need to do, change the cover to an omniously weileded shovel beating the crap out of a bunch of crazed Pinatas(with a psychopathic smile and red glowing eyes) while a bunch are eating a fallen pinata in the back. Re-rate it teen for um, "Simulating acid trip" and you're good to go!

15. My confession is that I have never played it ... and I don't want to.

16. i'm a 20 year old male college student who's in love with the halo games and i have a fascination for anything i can shoot, blow up, or otherwise obliterate... but when i played the viva pinata demo i couldnt help it, i was hooked so i went out and bought it. and i got my roommates hooked and they went out and bought it... hell, i hafta fight my girlfriend for the controller after she's been playing it for hours on end... now THAT'S saying something...

18. I love Pinata!!! I love making new gardens. I love that I paid 19.99 at Target for one of my favorite games.

Posted at 9:29PM on Jun 1st 2007 by Joe Carranza

19. I'll admit I downloaded the demo and played it till 4 in the morning, but I don't have the balls to seriously buy the game :(

Posted at 10:06PM on Jun 1st 2007 by Jai

20. I made a terrible error when I let my wife play the demo, thinking she might like it. That was the day before Mother's day. She made me go out on Mother's day and buy the game at Target (it was only $29.99) and then she played it for nearly 12 hours straight while I busted my ass mowing the lawn, cleaning the house and catering to her every demand. She's an addict and now so am I.
