InsideGamer got an exclusive first look at in game footage of FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage, and posted it for our viewing pleasure. It runs at 3 minutes and 30 seconds, and shows a semi-off road race through the countryside. The problem is we've been known to make unfair comparisons of random racing games to the Burnout series, but we can't resist ourselves. This looks a lot like Burnout 3: Takedown mixed with some Revenge. It even uses similar fonts in the HUD. Perhaps we're just seeing things because we can't wait to see more of Paradise. Video available beyond the rainbow, or rather, the "Read" link.

Pretty disappointing. What's with the crazy camera action with the big crash towards the end of the video? Takes away from the look of the crash and makes it seem like more of a glitch. Also, plants clipping throug the vehicles and visible on the inside of the car? That's just lazyness...

This is the same Flatout that's been out on the PC for some time now. Doesn't mean it's a bad thing. The PC version has great grafix, great framerate, and sweet arcade physics.

this had my interest when announced, now I care nothign for it. Looks like one of those other driving games with good graphics, stiff controlls, no weapons or boost and no chance in hell of coming in first if you mess up even once.
I think ill stick with my burnout series which has traffic, and awards players who are behind with extra boost to catch up and make the game competitive. Dont forget the drifting, which makes the game so fun and fast. I cant even play racing games anymore other then burnout, when back in the days, I use to play them all.
