We fired up our trusty 360 this morning, as we are required to do under contract, and were pleased to see that the Command & Conquer 3 demo has gone live. Originally promised to arrive yesterday, we were left with nothing. Thankfully, the demo has cleared whatever hurdle that stood before it and is now just waiting to be downloaded. Tantalizingly sized at 1GB exactly, it just dares you grab it. So, what are you waiting for? Go get it. We'll post our impressions of the demo later today.
Anybody manage to get any play time already?
[Thanks to everyone that tipped us off]

i have to say im a bit disappointed. the control system works well once you get used to it but the graphics just arnt nearly good enuf, they arnt bad they just arnt next gen. its as if they have set the benchmark system to be a mid range pc graphics card and not pushed it at all, company of heros came out on pc over a year ago and its graphical so much better.

@16 "some playtime in the daytime" LOL omg after i read that I laughed so hard I allmost pissed my pants lol.
As far as the controls I like the set up it's just a little hard to get use to it espically if you are use to playing it on the pc.
Now i'm not bitching but I think the scrolling moves faster then a bat out of hell lol. I had a friend watching me play it and got a little motion sickness lol.
I am diffently gonna pick this up!!!

I don't know... I mean, the textures are all good and the effects are not bad. Combining that with the amount of individual units on screen at any given time, I think it turns out pretty well. Even if you zoom in all the way it looks pretty good.
I suppose it's not mindblowing, but I'm not really sure how much more they could do without it getting totally in the way of it being a RTS game.

Played multi all night and it's all I expected it to be. The controls may seem weird at first but after the tutorial and a couple missions you can pretty much hop into the fray.
Now if all the fps noobs can l2p rts we just might have a hit record here.

I left town for three days, and returned to find that my 360 had been on the whole time.
This is my second 360, my launch one died after 6 months (red rings)
I had no game in the drive thank god, but its still working fine.
True story.

Lame that you have to have Gold membership to download...
Any idea how long until Silvers can get it?
