1. That would be kinda stupid. Hopefully it is something much better than this.

2. "If the word in your mind right now isn't "porn" ... well, you're probably more well adjusted than I am, but I digress."

I think you're really betting this dead horse to a pulp. Can you, and this site just give it a rest?!?

3. I know what -- why don't we wait until tomorrow and see instead of making up nonsense?

4. They said up to 24 hours, so it could be up sooner, I doubt it will, but it is possible.

5. How'd you even get into the beta last night?

6. Also, they say they are adding some cool new features. Plural, not just one.

7. Damn, also I wanted to put that the 360 can already send pictures to a user and you can see that message on xbox.com, you just can't open it, if that was all they were addind, why would 360 live go down instead of just xbox.com.

8. Doug,

I have had almost zero problems with the PSU beta. I haven't experienced any of the connection problems everyone is talking about. I did have one issue, late last night. The game when to the black screen when I went to my room, and my room never loaded. Logging back in, the game got stuck on the "Acquiring characer information" phase. I just figured the Live outage had started early.

Other than that, no problems at all.

Joe Smith,

I'd hardly call this nonsense. Even if it's not a porn issue, it could become a privacy issue. Once a picture is on a PC, you can do *anything* with it. Granted, it's just speculation, and we say that very clearly, but it's interesting speculation.

If you don't like speculation, I suggest you stop reading the internet.

9. If you don't like criticism, maybe you should stop writing for a blog.

10. @ Neoxkc

The xbox.com and xbox live servers are so intergrated that when one has to be closed they both do. It allows things like you gamerscore and achievements etc to be access without loads of redundant data on the servers. Why save stuff in 2 places when one will do?

If we are speculating about the new features i think that the marketplace is going to be automated into xbox.com. At the minute everything has to be added manually, thats why it takes a day or two before new content shows up on xbox.com. Major Nelson mentioned that they were looking into adding this on his last blogcast, and everyone know the Major doesnt like speculating about things that might happen.

11. I just clack this one up to a slow news day!!

Again, just give it a rest Richard Mitchell. If you are at all familiar this the 360 then you should know their are way to restricted would can send messages, ( Kids ) also if you take a pic and send it as a message then you should know it out of your hands at that point so how as a adult can you really complain if it's send out over the Internet. Does that mean we should shut down the Internet forever because when I send a pic of my kids or myself to a friend back home he could edit it and send it back out again. Really this is nonsense speculation, and has nothing to do with privacy issue, because with the appropriate options set there is no issue.

13. I think the word you were looking for is "hot".

;D

14. Kinetic. My understanding of Major's statement was that they wanted to tie marketplace to xbox.com so that instead of having things show up on xbox.com a couple days later, or erroneously showing up when the item was pushed back, they would land simultaneously.

I do think that pics are going to be part of the update. And hopefully audio messages too.

16. "I'm still in awe that you were actually playing that Phantasy Star stinker."

Yeah, I know. It's weird, because I can recognize that it's not that great. I can see that even when I'm playing it. But for some reason it just draws me in. I *love* dungeon crawlers, what can I say?

17. Richard - dont listen to these guys who bash articles like this. Some of us may enjoy reading speculation, and opinions and all that. For the people who didnt like the post just leave it at that and dont waste your time posting about how you didnt like it. I really dont understand why people waste their time telling us and richard about how they didnt like the article/post. Man, some people just have way too much time. Move on if you dont like it and let people do their job.

18. WARNING: As for pRon... Don't you suppose that anyone who uses the video cam to expose themself are potentially at risk no different than doing so in public. Granted their are pay services of adult content that require credit cards for age validation... but with children under 18 on Xbox Live... The only official warning is code of conduct violation. But suppose that someone captures with camcorder some one who is over 18 sending nude video to a person under 18 and vice versa you have some serious legal problems on par with pedofiles. Granted being on someones friend list is required. But this whole thing has the potential to get someone in serious trouble.
