First Tupac, then Biggie and now Eminem's homeboy Proof (aka DeShaun Holton), a competing member of Snoop Dogg's Xbox Live-based Hip Hop Gaming League, has fallen victim to the rap game. Thankfully, his death (in a Detroit nightclub shooting) was non-Halo related, but it's still sad to see a fellow gamer go before his time. The HHGL will be suspending matches for two days days to honor Proof's memory.2. Hmmm, as the news come in, it seems that Proof actually shot someone in the head over a game of fucking pool, and was then shot by a bouncer (who was also a relative of the man who was shot). Can't say I really have any sympathy here. Call me an asshole or whatever, but if you're going to be dumb enough to shoot to kill over a game of pool, you deserve what's coming to you.

3. Yeah, this guy was hardly a model citizen, and shouldn't be considered a rolemodel to ANYBODY. Just because he played videogames, doesn't make him a good person.

9. Proof was a great guy. I know you guys dont know what its like on the streets and think this is just stupid news. Well guess what, its not stupid. If you dont know what happened, then dont act like you do? all of the evidence has not been recovered which means anybody could have fired first. One witness said that Proof shot first. Another witness said that proof didnt do anything wrong. Until the court case is over, nobody knows what realy happened. And if you dont understand what its like to be "gangsta" or live in the hood than stay in your rich neiborhood and stop dissin people that you wouldnt diss off of the internet.

10. The police did not take the bouncer into custody, much less accuse of a crime. The lost of life is sad, but this makes me think of that Dave Chappelle skit "when keep it real goes wrong".
And please do not talk to me about the ghetto, I lived in it for most of my life. And most of my family still in it.
